Learning to ride and take care of animal teaches children responsibility, helps with their balance and gives them skills they can use for a lifetime. Riding lessons aren’t just for children. There are many reasons why adults take lessons. For some it is an activity that they have always wanted to learn, for others they haven’t ridden in a long time and want to get back into the saddle.
Training horses in the outback is our specialty! Often we have young gaited horses that are on their journey to becoming trusted trail partners. If stylish looks, a soft comfortable ride, and real world experience is what you are seeking in a trail mount, we have your next dream horse! Occasionally outside horses may be accepted for training. Part of horse ownership is enjoying time together and working as a unit. Frequently adventures on horseback are taking place. Many adventures entail trail rides in and around Lake County. Other adventures include participating in horse shows and parades. We also host clinics for riders, horses or both. Past clinics have included: horsemanship, jumping, clicker training and bare foot trimming.
We have two stallions at stud. Our senior stallion, Painter’s ET, is a beautiful and unique Tennessee Walker Stallion. The only known stallion in the world that is solid mahogany bay with blue eyes. We offer pasture and paddock boarding year round. Our pasture boarding features high desert forage, natural terrain and creek crossings. Large paddocks with shelters are available near the indoor and outdoor arenas.
